Sophie is the Artist in Residence at Hitchin Library and will lead a workshop .

The main things to bring to the session would be any of the following:

• An image or object that relates to a story - personal stories of family would be ideal if you are comfortable sharing.

• Family Photos (old or new or both)

• a memory

• old documents

• heirlooms or photos of such

It would be great to have copies of any of the above for the workshop as I wouldn't want anyone to deface their actual family pics!

I will supply the materials for a little icebreaker task and then I will let people choose how they want to create a contribution to the project. The works are meant to be on envelopes but if someone wants to work on a different material that is fine as long as we can either attach it to, or inside of an envelope A4 max (although we could spread a larger piece across several envelopes) - you can see attached a little participant pack we are handing out which might give you an idea of the overall project.
