The Club meets in Hitchin Library,SG5 1EW on Tuesday Evenings from 7.30-9.30pm.

From April 1st 2023 the annual membership fee will be £50.
For demonstrations by visiting artists members pay £5, non members £7.
Workshops are only for members who pay £5
Please note the club is for adults , we are unable to accept anyone under 18years of age.
Hitchin Art Club grew out of Art Classes held in the 1930's, which were so successful that they resulted in the formation of Hitchin Art Club in 1943. The Club atmosphere is one of help, guidance and enjoyment. Members have experience across all media from paintings in watercolour, acrylics and oils, through to pastels and printing.
Demonstrations , workshops and talks from artists in different mediums are held monthly and occasionally visits organised to galleries .
Outdoor exhibitions are held twice a year in Hitchin Arcade and a main Annual Exhibition is normally held in the Autumn.
